We are excited to advise you that on April 13, 2026 at a joint meeting of the Virgil Women’s Institute and the Women Empowered Women’s Instituted a motion was made to amalgamate effective April 14, 2026.

Meetings
We would love to have you join us at one of our meetings! Our Branch meets every 4th Wednesday of the month and we alternate between evening virtual meetings and in-person luncheon meetings. We generally pause during the months of July and August. We would be thrilled to have you come and see what we are all about! Due to the Hamilton Area WI Annual General Meeting on October 28, 2026 the October luncheon meeting will be held on October 27th at 11:30 am. Contact us for details.

The Virgil & Women Empowered WI are hosting a 3 Holiday Vendor Show in support of Lyme Disease Research on October 10, 2026 at the Grantham Optimist Club in St. Catharines, Ontario. Admittance is free! Join us for an amazing day of shopping, community and local talent. Enjoy our speakers and entertainment all the while helping to support Lyme Disease Research.
